This is the best ready-made gessoboard I have found. It takes oils and acrylics smoothly without being overly 'slick', like some of the other mass-produced panels on the market. The masonite is tempred and the board have been tested to last over 200 years... ...My only complaint is the edges are delicate, so don't drop them!... TexasArt.com also needs to carry the larger sizes!
