This painting medium is made specifically for use with Holbein Duo Aqua Oils, but can be used with any water-miscible oil paint. Using this medium gives the paint a translucent matte finish, and speeds the drying time of the paint. This medium can be thinned with water, which will also lessen the matte effect. Thick layers of these medium may cause wrinkling.
